Board of Outreach

The Board of Outreach is the umbrella structure that acts as coordinator and clearing house for the church's Individual Outreach Ministries[IOMs]. The IOMs are: Homeward Bound; Camp Talahi; Habitat for Humanity; CROP Walk; Haiti Relief; and Adopt-a-Family for Christmas. The 10-year Ghana Ministry drew to a close in mid-2012. All of the IOM's that constitute the Outreach Board, meet quarterly and makes decisions regarding activity and how to fund these activities. OM is differentiated from the work of the Deacon Board by the fact that its activities are specifically designed to be an outreach into the wider community rather than the direct care of church members.
