Teaching

There are Christian Education programs for both youth and adults:

Youth

  • Sunday school is offered for children and youth every Sunday during the worship service. Youth convene downstairs at 10:00 a.m. and then gather in the sanctuary for the youth sermon during the service. Classes then begin downstairs around 10:15 a.m. Webster uses the Shine, "Living in God's Light," curriculum. On the first Sunday of every month youth assist in the service, acting as greeter/usher, acolyte, and lector. Older youth stay for the entire service on the first Sunday of the month. Nursery care is available for children 0-5 years every Sunday. Sunday school classes are suspended during the summer (June-August) and usually resume the second or third Sunday in September.
  • There are a variety of Youth Group activities throughout the year.
  • Confirmation classes are arranged as needed.

Adults

  • Spotlight on Faith is held on Wednesday mornings at 9:30 a.m. in the Conference Room.
  • Compass study group meets on Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m. Location for the week is either posted in the bulletin or announced at the church service. Contact the Deacon Chair for further information.
