Graduate and Service Recognition

... this Sunday, June 1 (during worship service).  We have five graduates from high school, community college, college and law school to congratulate! There will also be a special recognition of our Christian Education teachers and several others for their many years of service.

Live in Concert: Ancient Song Discovery Project

Friday, May 23 - 7:30-9:30 p.m. - Webster Church

Tickets: $15/adults, $5/students

Nessa is a Detroit area ensemble led by flutist/vocalist Kelly McDermott with Rob Crozier (bass, guitar, vocals, percussion, didjeridoo), Will Osler (drums, percussion), Alex Anest (guitar, lap steel, bass) and, David Mosher (fiddle, mandolin, vocals, acoustic guitar).

The music reflects Ms. McDermott's deep passion for rediscovering and rearranging old Celtic and European folk songs, along with clever, soulful arrangements of Classical themes. Nessa is a fun, funky ensemble with depth and color that includes some of Southeastern Michigan's finest players.

This Sunday (May 18) is Confirmation Sunday. Webster will welcome six young persons into our fellowship. This will be a joyful event, we would love to have you be present with us.

The Chime Choir will perform three pieces this Sunday: Amazing Grace/My Chains Are Gone, by Chris Tomlin, for the Prelude; Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee, arr. by Lloyd Larson, for the Offertory; and will accompany the Hymn of Dismissal, We Are Marching in the Light of God. Come hear them play-- after this Sunday's performance they will be on summer break (they resume rehearsing after the Fall Festival).

Communion Sunday - May 4

COMMUNION is offered the first Sunday of every month. At the table of Holy Communion, in bread blessed and broken, we recognize Christ and rejoice. All those who share this belief are invited to receive the sacrament.
