Maundy Thursday Service

April 13, 7:00 p.m.

The tradition of a Tenebrae service dates back to the eighth century. The word Tenebrae is the Latin term for shadows or darkness. In this service there are lessons accompanied by the gradual extinguishing of lights commemorating Jesus Christ’s final hours on earth and his death on the cross.
